Portugal has some of the best fleur de sel in the world.
This is an artisanal sea salt, hand-harvested by workers that only collect the top layers of salt. It is one of the most expensive salts in the world, but it is well worth it because it conspires with steaks, salads and more to offer you intense and pure flavors.
Yesterday, we tried this wonderful steak with chamgria, a sangria made with champagne and red fruits. Absolutely delicious, but this clearly asks for those hot Summer days. We are dreaming about it.
